Joe Fiore’s Southern Keystone Railroad is one of the largest model railroad collections in the world. Other collections this large have been built by groups of collectors but all of the work here was done by Joe over a long period of time. He is a retired pharmacist from Birmingham, Alabama and his collection began when his father gave him a model train set when he was two years old. He’s been adding to it ever since. Construction on this O Gauge layout in his basement began in 1979.
