Harvill served as CEO of Strong Automotive Merchandising from 1992 until his retirement in 2010. During the 2012-13 academic year, The University of Alabama celebrated 175 years of engineering education. In 1837, The University of Alabama Board of Trustees told the faculty that “the present state of our country calls for instruction in (engineering) from our university” making UA one of the first five institutions in the country to teach engineering.SHOW ME NOW

Her beautiful pottery reproduces the styles of medieval and renaissance times. Kerry Kennedy is an artist in residence at the Kentuck Art Center in Northport, Alabama and her studio operates under the name Fire Horse Pottery. Kerry and her husband participate in the Society for Creative Anachronism, an international organization dedicated to re-creating the arts of pre-17th-century Europe. She specializes in medieval and renaissance reproductions.
