Sucarnochee Revue Airdates on MPB
Please note: After this article was published, Sucarnochee Revue moved to Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. on MPB. It still airs Saturday nights at 11:00 on MPB as well. The Sucarnochee Revue TV series will premiere for Mississippi viewers on Friday, April 8th at 8:30 p.m. The series will air each Friday at 8:30 and also on Saturday nights at 11:00 p.m. on MPB TV according to a recent announcement by Mississippi Public Broadcasting. Sucarnochee Revue Trailer Released
Mississippi Public Broadcasting has released a short trailer to promote the upcoming series, The Sucarnochee Revue. The series has been in production for several months now and programs may begin airing on MPB TV as early as April 2011. Performances of the long-running radio series have been recorded for TV in Meridian, Mississippi and Livingston, Alabama and I have truly enjoyed working as director with the series producer, Key Ivy. Upcoming "Sucarnochee Revue" Performances
It has been my pleasure now to work as director of TV production for four performances of "The Sucarnochee Revue" and I'm looking forward to upcoming performances which will be recorded by Mississippi Public Broadcasting. The Revue is a radio series conceived and hosted by Jacky Jack White, a talented songwriter and performer from Livingston, Alabama. The radio series has been running for six years and now "The Sucarnochee Revue" is being recorded for a TV series to begin airing in the Spring of 2011. The Sucarnochee Revue comes to TV
The Sucarnochee Revue radio series which has entertained listeners around the world for six years will be coming to Mississippi Public TV in the Spring of 2011. Production has begun and I will be directing the initial productions for the series. The series draws its name from the Sucarnochee Creek which meanders through an area of Mississippi and Alabama known as the "Black Belt" for the dark, fertile soil found there.
