Johnny Lowebow performs at the Cigar Box Guitar Extravaganza
The 6th Annual Cigar Box Guitar Extravaganza will take place on Saturday, June 26th in Huntsville, Alabama. This is the event at which most of my documentary, “Songs Inside The Box” was shot a couple of years ago.
The event attracts cigar box guitar enthusiasts from across the eastern U. S. and is a fun outing for anyone interested in these unique instruments.
It will begin at 12 noon with a vendors market followed by a screening of “Songs Inside The Box” at 4 p.m. and live music beginning at 6 p.m. with Johnny Lowebow, Microwave Dave, One String Willie, Eric “Joker” Baker, Gerry Thompson, and Little Johnny Kantreed!
