Work History and Experience

ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR
The University of Alabama Department of Journalism and Creative Media – July 2021 to present. I am continuing to teach media production labs part- time following retirement from full-time employment.

PRODUCER-DIRECTOR
The University of Alabama Center for Public Television & Radio – May 1993 to June 2021. I produced and directed documentaries, TV shows, and various media projects. I also taught media production classes and labs.

DIRECTOR
Mississippi Public Broadcasting – July 2010 to May 2011. Directed production of a weekly music series recorded on location.

MULTIMEDIA COORDINATOR
Kershaw Manufacturing Company – January 1990 to April 1992. Produced corporate print and video communications for internal training and external promotions.

PRODUCTION CENTER MANAGER
Alabama Public Television – January 1985 to May 1989. Supervised production and engineering staff involved in studio and field production.
